Good article in the NYT reporting that Def. Secretary Leon Panetta has lifted the ban on women serving in front-line combat. And the amazing thing is it’s being supported by the leaders of the four major divisions of the armed forces.
It’s about time the U.S. caught up to the rest of the world.
